#GMArtist Estheysis Menendez (@estheysism_dancer) is currently a Demi Soloist at Houston Ballet (@houstonballet). Originally from Havana, Cuba, Estheysis began her training at the Luis Casas Romero Vocational Arts School followed by the Vicentina de la Torre Academy. She was invited to train at the National Ballet School of Cuba in 2007 before joining the company the following year. She was promoted to First Soloist in 2012 and later Principal in 2015. In 2017, Estheysis joined Houston Ballet and was promoted to Demi Soloist in 2019. Estheysis has been dancing in Gaynor Mindens since 2009 #InHerOwnWords
