Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Today, I will show you a second-tier city, Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province, also known as Rongcheng and Jincheng. It is a super-large city, one of the national central cities, and the largest city in western China.
Located in the southwest region of China, the western part of the Sichuan Basin, and the Chengdu Plain hinterland, Chengdu has a subtropical monsoon humid climate. The total area of the city is 14,335 square kilometers, divided into 20 administrative districts. The permanent population is approximately 21.27 million. There are 65 universities, 744 hospitals, 2 large international airports, 4 high-speed railway stations, 172 museums, 23 public libraries, 562 kilometers of subway lines, and 6.61 million motor vehicles (the first in the country). Industries include software, electronics, automobiles, and services, with a total GDP of about 650 billion US dollars.
Chengdu is also the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization, with a history of 3000 years. It is also one of the famous tourist cities in China. Many dynasties established their capitals here, and Chengdu has more than 90 scenic spots throughout the city.
