From wire armature and paper strips to stuffed textile cushions, painted bodice and beaded shoulders, you can watch her slowly take shape:
building the frame, padding the skirt, sculpting the face, then adding wool hair.

It’s not a step-by-step tutorial, more like keeping you company in the studio while one slightly strange queen appears – somewhere between folk art, costume history and a small cabinet sculpture.
