Today I went deep into Dubai’s real food scene and discovered a true Pakistani food paradise Bannu Gul Beef Pulao Restaurant, located in Al qouz, right in the heart of the labor camp area. This is the kind of place many people drive past every day without realizing what they are missing.
What I experienced here is not just food it’s culture, tradition, and history on a plate.

The highlight of this visit was Nali Beef Pulao, one of the most iconic dishes from Bannu city in Pakistan. This dish is known for its massive beef bone marrow, slow-cooked inside rice for nearly four hours, allowing all the marrow richness to melt into the pulao. The result is deeply flavorful rice, tender beef, and a dish that represents generations of Pakistani cooking.

Bannu Beef Pulao originated in the Bannu region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and today it’s loved across Pakistan. Finding it prepared authentically in Dubai is rare and this place does it right.

What made this experience special was the atmosphere. The restaurant was completely full families, workers, Pakistanis, and visitors from different backgrounds all sharing the same tables. This is not a place for one type of crowd. This is food for everyone.

Along with the Nali Beef Pulao, we also tried:
