Plot:
A group of Swedes travels to Thailand in search of a happier life.
Kajsa, an overworked mother of two, suffers a stroke and decides to move to Thailand with her daughters in the hope of finding peace and joy. She leaves her home and job in Sweden, taking her family to the bungalow hotel Happiness where they had vacationed before. Happiness turns out to be closed and for sale, so Kajsa decides to buy it.
Majlis never wants to return from her holiday in Thailand. She wants to retire there with her wheelchair-bound husband Bengt and live off his pension. However, her cantankerous husband wants nothing more than to go home.
Glenn, 45, is single and a virgin. He dreams of a family life with children and desperately tries to find a woman to share that dream with. After being rejected repeatedly by women in Sweden, he decides to try his luck in Thailand.
