More or less the same as normal mode, just slightly less forgiving with the grenades. Enemies do a bit more damage, and you need to direct hit the Overloads with 3x Roaring Flames (or hammer into nade). Other than that it's all fundamentally the same approach as normal mode.

Regarding the symbols, all you need to do is see what the last symbol is. You can tell what the correct last symbol is, by seeing which has the text "An obelisk awaits your offering..." shortly after defeating the Glyphkeeper. Then, find whatever totem has that symbol on it and shoot it once. If the whole totem lights up, it's incorrect, and go to the other ones. On the other totem, simply shoot the correct symbol and the remaining 6 on the other two sides.
