SPOTTING TRIP
JOHN F. KENNEDY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
SATURDAY JANUARY 15, 2011

This video features spotting from two different locations, while JFK was landing on 22L and 13L in addition to departing on 13R. The first few minutes feature 22L arrivals, which were nice, but was a PAIN to deal with, as that spotting location was covered in several feet of snow and was a pain in the neck to get to. I then switched to the 13L spot just to see if it was actually accessible. It was being plowed and then was available. It was a GREAT move and you will see why in the video. I even got some video of 22L arrivals and a couple 13R departures from that spot.

I apologize for the editing on the video, as I experimented with filming in high definition, which, unfortunately, did not give me the ease of editing as I thought it would (since the video is on tape and not on memory cards), so basically you're seeing an unedited video. DID I MENTION THIS IS IN HD?!
