Teacher in Space Christa McAuliffe perished along with six other astronauts when the space shuttle Challenger exploded on January 28, 1986. We all watched as the TV cameras were fixed on Christa's parents, Grace and Edward Corrigan. Through an unusual series of events, Grace Corrigan has developed a special relationship with a group of Minneapolis teachers. She continues to inspire us 25 years after the loss of her daughter.
