A Flying Visit to East Midlands Airport July 13th 2025, during a heatwave

✈️I drove to East Midlands Airport on a Sunday, there wasn’t much happening, I guess as it was a Sunday, but I do know this airport gets some goodies & I will definitely be going back! Comment if you have been to this airport for plane spotting, let me know what you thought!
✈️ I chose the Aeropark location, which costs £5 to enter, including parking. There are mounds to stand/sit on with views unobscured by the fences, however on this delay the planes were taking off heading East, and I stood right by the car park, to the west. This meant that by the time most of the planes rotate, they are out of site. Had I walked up further, I would likely have had a better view of the planes rotating.
✈️ The Aeropark has lots of static old aircraft to check out, toilets and a small cafe with some classic models and books available for purchase.
✈️ I look forward to returning to EMA on a weekday when the kids are back at school and the weather is cooler. I will spend the whole day there!
