Marine Corporal Juan Dominguez lost both his legs and his right arm in an explosion in 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. On April 27, 2013, the community of Temecula, California came together to give Dominguez and his bride Alexis their dream wedding.
Everything for the event from the reception venue and rehearsal dinner to the entertainment, photography, flowers, cake and, makeup, was donated by various local businesses to the young couple.
Juan's spirit is undiminished by his hardships. "Nothings changed." he said "I'm a little bit shorter, lost a couple of legs and an arm, but my brain is still here and my heart is still here." And Alexis couldn't be happier. "Every girl wants a dream wedding and this is my dream wedding, especially because I am marrying the man of my dreams."
