British History Is Being Systematically Erased And A New 'Politically Correct'' Historical Account Is Being Pushed On Us...
'
The 2025 series ''King and Conqueror'' was supposed to be about 1066 KIng Harold and William the Conqueror. It was painfully historically inaccurate (on all sorts of levels besides the obvious racial inaccuracies ) ; there were no black people '('Afro-Saxons'' as they're ironically called) in England at that time. There were no black Anglo Saxon troops, Normans or anybody else from far distant lands. Why were they cast into a multi million pound series?
Putting black actors into historically impossible roles is called ''colour blind'' casting. Add in the other numerous historical mistakes, this then was a nonsense series by the BBC and the other studios who helped fund and produce it. It scored lamentably on ''Rotten Tomatoes'' the film site that records expert and ordinary people's views on films and dramas etc.
I have no beef with black Africans. What I struggle with is an over representation far beyond their numbers. This seems some what propagandistic and a bizarre attempt at social engineering by the left and the ''woke'' elites.
2017 and ''The Darkest Hour'' about Churchill in 1940, based mainly in London and England. Trouble is there were really hardly any Africans in London or in the circles Churchill was mixing in at that time. Why go overboard in '''Africanising'' bits of the film ? In addition there were lots of historical mistakes in what was otherwise a decent film.
''The Spanish Princess'', (2017/18) another historical series drama by ITV, looked at Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's first wife. It was clear in historical records , there were no black ladies in waiting then. So why try and erase our actual history by inserting one ? It looks incredibly silly and counter intuitive..
''Anne Boleyn'' (2021 ITV) was another recent very bizarre ''colour blind'' casting attempt. We had a very black Anne Boleyn. Things were rapidly becoming ridiculous. Why bother with accurate buildings, dress and scenery when such schoolboy errors are made ? It seems to be nonsense tv, fantastically dressed up in predictable ''colour blind'' casting by the media/film industry.
Can you imagine a white actor as Martin Luther King or a white actor playing Nelson Mandela? If films be made in the future about these men they'd almost 100% be balck actors. Something really odd is happening in tv, advertising and films. One cannot help wonder what sort of social engineering is being planned for us all in the 2020s.
Isn't it time for a bit more historical fidelity? Why the pressure to cover adverts and dramas with an over presence (in the case of adverts) or a historically silly use of black people, where they just shouldn't be ?
Question 1: Why the overfocus on black Africans in adverts and dramas?
Question 2: Why the constant over focus on mixed race marriages and mixed race families in adverts on tv ?
Question 3: Why the over emphasis on Afro-Carribeans when they only make up around 6% of the UK populations ?
Question 4: Where are the other minorities existent in the UK on the tv both drama and adverts ? E.g. Irish, Poles, Romanians, Jews, SE Asians, Those from the Indian Sub Continent and many others who never get a look in on adverts, films and dramas ?
