Assassins is a 1995 American action thriller film directed & produced by Richard Donner, as well as written by Andy & Larry Wachowski and Brian Helgeland.
The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas and Julianne Moore.
The Wachowskis stated that their script was "totally rewritten" by Helgeland, and that they tried to remove their names from the film but failed.
Robert Rath (Stallone) is an assassin who wants to retire. But he is hired for 'one last job'...only a new assassin is in town.
And he wants to be #1.
