HESPERIA Authorities Respond To Car Fully Submerged in Flood Waters

AREA/CITY: Hesperia near Silverwood Lale
DETAILS:

At 4:26pm the San Bernardino County Fire Departments swift water rescue team and the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to a car fully submerged in flood waters up to the windows.
Upon Arrival, the swift water rescue team located one car fully submerged in the water with an unknown amount of occupants.
The scene was dark and the water was deep and moving fast. An air rescue helicopter from the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department was requested to assist but was canceled shortly after.
The rescue team approached the vehicle to search for any occupants by using a long pole.
No occupants were found at the time and a search for occupants will continue when the water levels drop.
Flood waters are said to be the reason for the car being submerged.
