Gem S3 and SX3 Synthesiser's

Описание: An old "VHS" recording of me playing the Gem S3 and SX3 Synthesisers back in the 90's.
I worked for the company during the 80's and 90's for 12 years.

The Spec.
16 note polyphonic in dual OSC mode, 32 note is single OSC mode, however, most voices were dual, so 16 note polyphony. Not a lot to work with when using the 16 track sequence as I am here for the backing parts of the song.
This was before the "General Midi Standard" came into place, so midi files were a no go. Everything you hear was sequenced in the internal sequencer in real time. Although, with 16 tracks I was using "multi tracking" to build the songs.
There was over a 1000 PCM sounds stored in 16mb ROM, with a 2mb RAM for samples, "2mb,,,, Lol.
The keyboards were semi weighted, with poly aftertouch, and attack and release velocity which was a game changer and way ahead of its time back in the day. 2 independent DSP for FX such as reverb, delays and chorus effects.
These were fun days, and I loved to play out on these keyboards which I did all over the world.
