Three out of the four eggs from our last brood did not hatch. A Cowbird went into the nest and pecked at the three eggs laid at that time. The fourth egg was laid the day after the Cowbird incident.
The parents removed the third egg from the nest after it cracked.
These two eggs were conjoined. One of the eggs cracked and the embryo was sticking to the other egg.
