3 Ways to Fix-Repair-Patch Intex Above Ground Pool With Leak-Filled-VLOG

This is not a normal motorcycle related Vlog like I usually do, but just a behind the scenes look and my repair attempts on the pool liner. No, I'm not an expert on pool repair. LOL. I hope it helps someone else out there.

The claw of the kitten put a pin sized hole in the Intex pool liner. I did not want to drain the pool to put on a traditional patch as it had fresh treated water. I need something that could fix it with the water still in it.

I tried 3 different ways to fix the pool liner. I bought some JB Water Weld. First I tried applying it to the outside and then the inside. The Water Weld can be applied under water, which I show.

After swimming in the frigid pool water two times, I was able to repair the hole in the pool liner with the Water Weld on the inside. Once I stopped the leak, I was then able t o apply a traditional pool liner patch on the outside with PVC glue and patch material.

I will go back this fall when the pool is drained and apply a traditional pool liner patch to the inside and replace the Water Weld.

All is well, and the Intex Pool Liner is fixed and not leaking! No, I still don't like cats and they're not allowed around the pool. Those are the rules now!
