Webinar: Helping Child Care Providers Apply for the Revive Plus COVID-19 Relief Grant Program

Through this program, child care programs and other small businesses, nonprofits and faith-based entities are eligible for grants of up to $20,000 for COVID relief.

The application period for the Revive Plus Grant Program will be open from noon November 23, 2020 through noon December 4, 2020. The program is first come, first served, so we encourage you to apply before Thanksgiving, if possible. The application is simple and easy, and this webinar recording covers how to apply and which expenses applicants can seek aid for through the grant. During the webinar, questions from child care owners and directors were answered by senior officials in the State Finance and Comptroller's office. The Revive Plus grant program is the second wave of funding for Alabama businesses, non-profit, and faith-based organizations that have been affected by the pandemic. Through this initiative by Governor Kay Ivey, $200 million of the State’s CARES Act funding is being dedicated to providing grants of up to $20,000 to reimburse qualifying entities for business interruption expenses. The application process for this grant is being administered by the Alabama Department of Finance.

Please note, this grant is in addition to any state of Alabama Coronavirus Relief Fund grant you may have previously received, including the Revive Alabama Small Business, Non-Profit, Faith-Based, and Health Care Provider grants. If you received support from those programs, and/or a federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan, Economic Injury Disaster Loan, or Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), you may still apply for this new grant, as long as you are applying for reimbursement of additional eligible business interruption expenses that were NOT already covered with those funds.
