Architecturally speaking.
The new addition (1999) to the Reichstag Building (Berlin) is an example of architecture designed to make a statement.
It’s dome , that has been added to the original building in 1999, was a tribute to democracy.
It is actually a - “public over parliament” statement, giving symbolic transparency to the people over the government representatives, while rotating through the dome overlooking the parliament hall.
