Blazar Talon 50mm T2.1 Auto Focus 1.5x anamorphic
At first, I was slightly disappointed. It felt cleaner and more corrected than I expected. But after reviewing footage, testing sharpness, distortion, autofocus performance, and comparing it to lenses like the Apex and Great Joy, I started to see what this lens really is.
The Talon doesn’t chase extreme character. It makes anamorphic practical.
Autofocus. Manageable size. Traditional 2.39:1 delivery without heavy cropping.
It’s not perfect, but it may be the most usable full-frame autofocus anamorphic lens available right now.
