Dipke stated that his Master's degree was financed through a combination of an institutional scholarship and an education loan, which he claims he is still repaying.

During his response, Dipke also said he is willing to make his financial and academic documents public, while challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to also make his university degree public.

The controversy follows complaints seeking an inquiry into the funding of Dipke's overseas education and the fundraising practices of the CJP.
