They've followed their passion for dance throughout their lives; through different styles, different teams and different versions of themselves. Now as UCLA students, they have created for a platform where they represent African-American traditions in the UCLA community, bringing a spirit of joy to audiences.

The Bruinettes at UCLA is a dance team formed to highlight the African-American danceline style created at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs). The team is an inclusive space for Black students to find a way to represent themselves on campus and to express their love of dance in the stands and on the field, during official UCLA basketball and football games.
