For the third time now, Next Generation host Chris Tietjen compiles the best Cocoon releases of the year on one CD and succeeds in providing a mix that is summarizing the party highlights of the past year in a perfect way. With three artist albums, the Compilation G and numerous 12"es, Cocoon has again set standards in 2007 and is also planning a lot for 2008: besides the upcoming Minilogue album, there is also an album from Extrawelt in sight.Besides the big hits ("Unreliable Virgin", "Hunter" or "Horizon"), Chris has also included some flip side pearls ("My Cube" oder "Alpha Blend") to the CD, and delivers an impeccable 70 minute set that elegantly steps on the border between House and Techno.
