Описание: Suzanne Tomasi DVM, MPH and Colin Basler DVM, MPH provide a presentation on the COVID-19 outbreaks in meat and poulty processing facilities. Dr. Suzanne Tomasi is a veterinary epidemiologist with the CDC at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Dr. Colin Basler is a veterinary epidemiologist with the CDC in the Division of Foodborne and Waterborne Environmental Diseases (DFWED). Dr. Tomasi will discuss worker and job characteristics that might have led to COVID-19 transmission and what engineering and administrative controls were identified to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmissions among meat and poultry processing workers. Dr. Basler will describe the epidemiologic characteristics of a large COVID-19 outbreak in a meat processing facility. The date of the presentation is 5 November 2020.
