New Wand Experience at Universal Orlando Resort - 2nd Generation Harry Potter Wand and Spells Review

Описание: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has just gotten even more magical. The Universal Orlando Resort has just debuted new second generation interactive wands ahead of the opening of Universal Epic Universe. Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure both got new spells and updates to the existing spells.

These new wands come in 4 different styles and can be linked to the Universal Play section of the app so guests can personalize their experience. You customize your wizarding name, your avatar, your Patronus charm, and your Hogwarts House. Casting spells and going on adventures will earn points for you and your Hogwarts house. Each day, one Hogwarts House will win the house cup.

You can connect with friends and keep track of your progress. There's new spells in both parks and there will be all new spells in Epic Universe. The wands vibrate and light up when casting spells, which help you recognize when youve successfully cast a spell. Some spells have new "spells on spells" where you can cast one spell and a second spell will be revealed in a book. Casting the second spell will set off a second effect.

Going on adventures will unlock more magic. There are 2 spells that require you to complete an adventure first before being able to access.

The Dueling Dummy spell is more advanced and has guests casting multiple spells to defeat the dummy. The Dementor in Knockturn Alley will require you to cast your Patronus charm and then control it to battle the dementor.

The new wands are lightweight and do not require charging. They do come with batteries and the boxes include directions on how to replace the batteries if necessary. Team Members with spell books have tablets and can assist if you need help with your wand.

At this time, there are only 4 different styles of the second generation interactive wands for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the Universal Orlando Resort. Stay tuned for more designs to be released in the future.
