Описание: hi friends! I was so happy to visit Okinawa and be an island girl once again! Okinawa has been on my list for a while now and I feel so lucky I was able to visit and witness its beauty. Okinawa is known as the “Hawaii of Japan” and it is truly such a gem of a place. This trip was dedicated to relaxing and recharging and really enjoying my own company. In this video, I visit an island called Tokashiki which has the most stunning and clear blue waters and also go on a solo aquarium date to the famous Churaumi aquarium in Okinawa. There is so much to explore here and I know I didn’t cover it all this time but I am looking forward to coming back and covering even more terrain on my next visit! I wrote some more tips for your visit down below!

🪼Tips for your visit to Okinawa:
Bring cash in Japanese Yen - Okinawa is very cash based for buses, restaurants, and even grocery stores!
Ferry tickets link for tokashiki island: https://tokashiki-ferry.jp/Senpaku/po... (reserve ferry tickets in advance as they tend to sell out quickly and arrive at least an hour early before your ferry departure as there are often very long lines and you will still need to purchase your tickets at the window even though you reserved them online.)
Like I mentioned many times it is best to rent a car to make the most out of your trip. Make sure you secure an international driving license before your trip! I heard they are very easy to get, just plan ahead.
If you decide to use the bus system instead, be patient as they are often late by a few minutes to even 20 minutes or more but they always come eventually in my experience.
