Описание: Kingsport, Tennessee death metal horde PISSROT erupts from the underground once more with 'ABSOLUTE FORM', set for release April 17 via IRON FORTRESS RECORDS on vinyl, CD, and MC formats including a vinyl special edition which comes with a white and black marble wax and 11x17 poster (limited to 75).

Speaking about the new single and crushing opening track, guitarist Arian Mauk states:
“‘Sunless Embodiment of Repugnance’ is a raw and visceral attempt at a dark descent into the bleak world of human perception and consciousness. Stylistically this song (and album) is a lot stricter than what we’ve previously done with this band.”

Expanding on the scope of the record, Mauk continues:
“As a whole, 'ABSOLUTE FORM' brings the thoughts and ideas we’ve been trying to convey for years to a point where we are satisfied. We wanted to create an atmosphere that is very intense and bleak, using elements of noise and bestial black metal while still holding true to our death metal roots. Lyrically this release is very grand and almost cosmic or spiritual in an out-of-body way, covering very broad landscapes and concepts like perception and ungodliness.”

Following the 2022 debut EP 'Piss.Vile.Gunk', which was also the first ever IRON FORTRESS RECORDS release, two more EPs, a full-length, and a standalone single, PISSROT spent the majority of 2025 writing a new chapter of their grimy, bestial death metal. 'ABSOLUTE FORM' pushes the band further into chasmic and desolate territory.

Performed by PISSROT and recorded and mixed by guitarist Arian Mauk, 'ABSOLUTE FORM' captures the band’s raw, stripped-down intensity. Mastering was handled by Ragnar O’Daleigh, further amplifying the album’s crushing low-end and oppressive atmosphere. The visual element is equally corrosive, with artwork by Ditchwitch666, logo design by Hayden Brittain, and photography by Logan Bowman.
