Level service, the hotel is quite big, but if you're in the level it doesn't feel too big. Breakfast was cooked to order in a separate dining room, good service and lots to choose from. Booking in very efficient, the Cava always helps and if you are at the right time there are butties and more drinks available included in the package, you could actually eat all day if you wanted too. The room is good, spotless with all the amenities and your own sunbeds but unfortunately not cushioned which you would expect, so a little bit too hard, no toilet brush or bidet so take your squeezy portable one, shower was a bit slippy. Coffee pods a plenty and water, greeting bottle of wine, robes and slippers all included, well worth it. Entertainment team really good, big thanks to Robbie for looking after us and his protege learning on the job who is a lovely young lad, and of course, the main man who ran it all. Staff were excellent, bar staff are fantastic, always there if you need anything. You can have snacks at lunchtime, drinks and you can also have a drink before you actually go for your evening meal. The restaurant was very good, lots of variation, to suit everyone, normal buffet. The pool was the right temperature, so it was ideal, the weather was a bit cold for May but that’s not the hotels fault so it was jump in for a warm and woolly vest on at night if you brought one. Definitely going again and worth paying the extra for the level.
Cabaret first night, Barry White, we were in heaven, great tracks and performer, made the night work, ended up with a radio mic in my hand doing a bit of a duet, next we had Soul voices, two brothers did the slowies in the first half, good tracks, second-half great harmonies, very Luther Vandross, lots of dancing. Next a Latin duo, music a bit too loud, then we had a wish come true, the following night, a fantastic Cuban Latin female singer asked would you like a Cha-cha ? empty floor, sang Sway, who could resist, dancing all night audience loved it. Next up guitarist and girl singer some good tracks worked well, followed by a Rock band very good and danceable, last night was a reggae singer with DJ and a guy on the bongos, not quite for us but the bongo guy was really working the audience and made the night. I've got to say the cabaret was excellent, there was the odd duff one as usual, the positioning was great, the dance floor was good and the whole atmosphere was geared to enjoyment, which is how it should be.
