Washing raw denim is a frequently discussed and somewhat controversial topic, but at the end of the day it remains a necessity. As our previous how to wash video was created seven years ago, an update felt long overdue. That’s why we’ve made a brand-new video covering everything you need to know about washing your jeans, with a particular focus on that very first wash.
It’s important to note that there are no definitive right or wrong answers to many of the questions surrounding this subject. In this deep dive, we simply aim to offer our honest perspective.
For reference, we’re using a pair of B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT jeans in our 10-year anniversary selvedge denim, which has been worn by Lennaert for over 300 days and is now ready for its first wash.
