About this event:
Burnout holds us back from advancing racial equity and justice.

For many folks beginning their Breaking Bias journey, the work can feel overwhelming -- it can be difficult to feel encouragement or joy as we contemplate what seems like a never-ending road. Similarly, as we continue to grow along our Breaking Bias journey, it can be easy to celebrate all that we’ve learned, practiced, and accomplished by assuming that our journey is a neatly divided course that contains an end-point.

Let’s take ownership of our own healing journey.

Join Anu Gupta, the founder of BE MORE with Anu, for a candid, lunch-and-learn-style conversation on how a focus on curiosity can help you play a more powerful role in advancing racial equity. We’ll discuss ways we can combat the myth of needing to “know it all” in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) spaces, and ways we can continue to lift up, honor, and celebrate each others’ development.

In this session, we will build a safe and shame-free discussion container to openly discuss:

Racial trauma
Vulnerability, and dismantling the myth of needing to “know it all”
Reframing the journey of DEIB into that of a life-long learner
Tools to stay rooted in curiosity
The BE MORE methodology synthesizes cutting-edge research in neuroscience, genetics, social psychology, behavioral economics, anthropology, history, and sociology with human-centered design to facilitate learning among busy professionals.
