For anyone else who was inspired by this amazing song performed by Infant Sorrow; from film Forgetting Sarah Marshall...this is for you!

This is a song I have wanted to record for some time now. It was certainly the anthem of the films Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek starring Russell Brand and Jason Segel. For me, although the lyrics are alittle tongue and cheek, I hear a really fabulous/catchy melody mixed with some quite deep touching lyrics! But of course thats just my take of the song! :) It cerntainly made the movies for me.

Either way I hope you enjoy what I have done with this lovely tune and it takes you back to Peter on his journey to find his life and a way forward again after a sad break up...

I recorded the vocals and piano live and then overdubbed the strings after which my keyboard. The mixing process was tough on the vocal as the SM58a mic I was using took alot of time to clean up the pops etc.
