The Central Bank of India has released a recruitment notification for *Credit Officer in Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS-I)* through the **Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) program**.

#### *1. Vacancy Details:*
*Total Vacancies:* 1000
*Category-wise Distribution:*
SC: 150
ST: 75
OBC: 270
EWS: 100
General: 405
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) Reservation: 40 vacancies

#### *2. Eligibility Criteria:*
*Nationality:* Indian Citizen or specified categories as per government norms.
*Age (as of 30.11.2024):* 20 to 30 years (Relaxation for reserved categories).
*Educational Qualification:*
Graduation in any discipline with *60% marks* (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
Candidates must possess a valid mark sheet/degree certificate.

#### *3. Important Dates:*
*Online Registration:* *30 January 2025 – 20 February 2025*
*Payment of Application Fees:* *30 January 2025 – 20 February 2025*
*Download of Call Letters:* To be announced later.
*Online Examination & Interview:* Dates will be informed later.

#### *4. Selection Process:*
*Online Test + Descriptive Test + Interview*

No negative marking.

*Interview:* 50 Marks (Qualifying: 50% for Gen/EWS, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).

#### *5. PGDBF Course & Job Placement*
Candidates must complete a *one-year PGDBF course* (9 months classroom + 3 months On-Job Training).
Course fee: *₹3-4 lakhs* (Candidates can self-fund or take an education loan from Central Bank of India).
**Reimbursement of course fee after 5 years of service**.
*Stipend:*
₹2,500/month during classroom training.
₹10,000/month during On-Job Training.
*Final Placement:* After successfully completing PGDBF, candidates will be appointed as **Credit Officer (JMGS-I)**.
