While discussing the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amend) Bill, 2021, in Parliament, Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “AAI will fulfill their responsibilities by building airports in small towns and promoting Atmanirbhar Bharat.” He also added that in 70 years, the Congress constructed only 55 airports while Narendra Modi-led BJP constructed 136 airports. The Bill amends the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2008.
