Medicine and surgery is a complex field. It requires a lot of resources to have an impact. Medical care should be looked at with serious scrutiny. That being said, sensationalized statistics that don't tell the whole story seem to dominate the conversation. I am responding here to a clip I saw of Jordan Peterson discussing the issue of health care. He specifically quotes a paper that false asserts that medical error is the third leading cause of death.
