This is my absolute favourite high speed six and my number one lift at Vail.
Northwoods Express was built by Leitner-Poma in 2017 to replace an old-school 1985 Doppelmayr high speed quad. Lift 11 has LPA terminals and grips with Leitner chairs imported from Europe. This lift has a capacity of 3,000 people per hour and was the first Leitner-Poma high speed six at Vail because Doppelmayr completed Lifts 2 and 4. Northwoods Express is 5,905 feet long and 1,545 feet tall.
