Helen Wagner was born on September 3 1918, she died onMay 1, 2010. She played Nancy Hughes McClosky for a record breaking 54 years from 1956 until 2010. Nancy has appeard in some 19.700 scenes. Nancy/Helen spoke the first line on As the World Turns ever: "Good morning dear, what would you like for breakfast?". It was planned for her to speak the last lines of As the World Turns too but Helen's death on May 1, 2010 prevented that from happening.
