Watch a full tutorial as a 2001 GMC Sierra / Chevy Silverado will have a Sony XAV-AX1000 Double Din Touch Screen Radio installed. In this video, we are showing how to convert the factory 1.5 Size Din dash bezel into a double din dash bezel to accommodate a touch screen in the factory location.

This video applies to GMC / Chevrolet (Chevy) Sierra / Silverado / Suburban / Yukon / Tahoe / Avalanche models for years 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002. This video also includes dash trim and stereo removal, wiring, installation, and testing.
