Over in Colombia, the death toll continues to rise after flood waters tore through Mocoa, near the southern border with Ecuador, early Saturday morning.
At least 200 people were killed, another 400 injured and 200 are still missing.
President Juan Manuel Santos says at least 207 are dead, including dozens of children, but added that these numbers are rising.
Heavy rains sent floodwaters, mud and debris surging through homes in the city in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Rescuers are still digging through mud and debris in the hunt for those missing.
Santos blamed the disaster on climate change, as the city.... received a month's amount of rain in one night.
As the monsoon season is just beginning, Santos urged authorities to re-double efforts to prevent such tragedies.
