For the retropie console that I built, I needed a way to disable the onboard speaker amplifier when a 3.5mm headphone jack is connected.
Here we look at a technique of using the jack itself to control a standby pin on the amplifier.
This was done at the end of a business trip, all done on an iphone. Good enough for jazz! :)
