The Bluebell Railway hosted a return of their Branch Line Gala Weekend over the 21st -23rd April 2023. And the theme of the gala was the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway with three visiting locos including two L&Y locos joins along side the railway home fleet with an intensive timetable service plus brake van rides.
The gala line up are as follows...
Hunslet 0-6-0ST No.15 "Hastings" (visiting from the Kent & East Sussex Railway)
L&Y A Class No.52322 (visiting from the East Lancashire Railway)
L&Y 'Pug' No.11243 (visiting from the East Lancashire Railway)
LBSCR Class A1 'Terrier' No.72 "Fenchurch" (making it first gala appearance after overhaul)
SER O1 Class No.65
BR Standard Class 4MT No.80151
