India reportedly sought ceasefire after attacks

Описание: In a CNN report, correspondent Nick Robertson stated that India reportedly sought assistance from the US, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey to help de-escalate the conflict after Pakistan unexpectedly launched an extensive missile attack on Indian military installations in retaliation for Indian strikes on its territory.

India and Pakistan agreed to an immediate ceasefire after several days of military escalation, deadly cross-border attacks, and mutual accusations, which had sparked serious concerns that the two nuclear-armed nations might enter a full-scale war.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, violations were reported later the same day, with explosions heard across parts of Indian-administered Kashmir.
