Adelaide to Melbourne in a Jimny - Part 2: Beachport, The Grampians and Mount Cole + bad weather.

Waking up at dawn, beside a small lake near Beachport, I caught the sunrise, had breakfast, then packed up my tent into the Jimny and headed out into the dunes and beaches of Beachport Conservation Park.
The sand was cold and a little damp, which made it a little easier for Jimny to climb some descent sized dunes.
After a couple of hours of having the time of my life buzzing around in the sand I stopped in Beachport to air up and get some fuel and supplies, then headed Northeast towards Victoria, on my way to a campsite in The Grampians.
Unfortunately, the weather had turned bad and the camp grounds were a boggy mess and the wind was blowing a gale, so I got back on the road and tried to find another place to camp. Eventually I settled on Mount Cole and arrived at Ditchfields Campsite at 10pm. Only to be rudely awoken at 2am by howling winds, that lingered until about 6am. I got up early and headed home, still exhausted from the previous long day and a restless night.
