My Spice Scale: (based on standard length novels)
0 - "Clean Romance": Kissing, hand-holding, hugging, and/or lingering looks
1 - "Closed Door": Sex implied or happens, but is not described at all
2 - "Adult Romance": One sex scene (usually towards the end), not too explicit
3 - "Spicy": 1-2 sex scenes, described with more explicit language/details
4 - "Smut": 3-5 sex scenes, explicit description and lots of sensuality
5 - "Erotic Romance": Nearing the edge of what counts as romance (aka barely holding onto the plot)
