Watch the sparrows, cardinals, mockingbirds, and more stop by to snack on seed. This will be day 3 of streaming the arrival and aftermath of Fern experienced in our little corner of Texas. We've had remarkable increase in number and diversity of birds seen throughout each day.
Camera has been moved from top window view of the last couple of days as the brilliant sunlight bouncing off the accumulated ice & snow across the street is making the contrast too severe. This bottom of the window view is similar to the mobile live from yesterday (without needing to sacrifice the use of my phone).
I hope everyone that has been impacted by Fern is well, warm, dry, and has whatever assistance they may need, if not.
I am relieved that we did not loose power, as we sometimes have in storms with accumulated ice on trees & powerlines. The sun is starting to melt a bit of the ice, even though we remain about 10 degrees (F) below freezing.
I hope you join me and the cats as we do our #birdwatching through the window. I hope you find it relaxing and perhaps a pleasant scene to have on a TV or other display. Perhaps even projected on a wall (I've just learned this is a thing #windowprojector #fakewindow ). The recording will be available afterwards, as well. Entertain your own cats (or dogs) with them in future.
