Here is a quick take on a handmade coleslaw that I make in the middle of dead winter to make me feel like it’s summer.
Cabbage is nutrient, dense and full of fiber for you so I try to always have cabbage in my house.
In my coleslaw, I use Hellmann’s mayonnaise, a small piece of red onion, one stalk of celery, salt and pepper, celery seed, a splash of cider vinegar, sugar and sweet pickle relish.
I don’t really have a recipe of measurements because it all depends how much cabbage you’re using and how you like it.
Some people like a more vinegar based less mayo, so make it your own.
