Adorable Twin baby elephants having their first water dipping experience

Описание: Hello elephant lovers, we are back with an exclusive and refreshing footage today. It is the very first water dipping encounter of adorable twin baby elephants. This was happened in elephant orphanage home Pinnawala, Sri lanka.
The mother elephant who gave birth to twin elephants is named as Surangi. Two babies are prepared to get in to the water with their mother and another female elephant named as Kumari who is a friend of their mother.
Among other wonderful experiences exclusively available in Sri Lanka, This marks history as the first to the entire world. The babies are 4 months old now. The officials of Department of wildlife conservations, including the Director general of National Zoological gardens Sri Lanka, decided to celebrate this first water dipping experience ceremonially. In an auspicious time, baby elephants were carried towards the river to get their first ever water dipping experience as the caretakers and veterinary surgeon confirmed that now the two calves are strong enough to get in to the water.
Mother Surangi first got in to the water. Surangi is very cautious about the safety of her babies. At the very first time when the baby elephants touch the water with their tiny feet they got afraid and try to come back ashore. Little by little they were adopting to the water. Now they’ve started to play in the water.

Twin baby elephants is an extremely rare occurrence and having them seeing together bathing in the daylight can make your day or the entire year. So enjoy this rare video clip and the cuteness of these twin baby elephants enjoy their first bathing experience.

The elephant orphanage home Pinnawala was established by department of wildlife conservation Sri Lanka in 1975 for feeding and providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild. In its long history this orphanage home sheltered numerous injured elephants and abandoned calves who were unable to survive in the wild.
When it was diagnosed that this elephant mother had conceived with two babies, she was given special attention and care by the team of veterinarians including the staff in the animal section. She was provided with supplements and extra foods. As a result she gave birth to healthy calves.
Twin elephant birth in orphanage home is very rare worldwide, although several cases reported in national parks and natural forests. Elephants have the ability to give birth to twins, although it is rare. They usually only give birth to one. There is only around 1.6% of possibility for an elephant to have twins
Both of these baby elephants are male calves. The first calf was born around 4 am and second calf at 10 am. One of the babies was very weak when he was born. Therefore the staff had to give special attention and care to that baby elephant. Because of the dedication of the staff both claves are now in good health condition. Now they are 4 months old. Look how cute and adorable they are. They are loved by everybody in the orphanage home. The officials are highly dedicated to look after them. These cute babies are the apple of the eye of the orphanage home. The official's have planned to ceremonially celebrate the ‘’Naming “ ceremony of these two babies .
