One day before -- a 17-year old boy, now identified as Asia Ferguson of South Carolina was decapitated and killed, after he was struck by the ride moving at roughly 50-miles an hour. Authorities say the Ferguson had just ridden the coaster, and had jumped two fences afterward to get a hat he'd lost. The accident was on the minds of people heading to the park on Sunday. Kevin Bowland : he must have known he was getting into some place he wasn't supposed to go into. It's a tragedy that he was able to get in there. Authorities say the Ferguson was part of a church group, visiting from South Carolina. The teen's parents were at the park at the time. This video provided by Six Flags shows the Batman roller coaster in operation. No one was hurt on the ride. SOT: if someone decides they really want to jump over a fence, they're going to get over it. Going to be capable of stopping them. This is not the first deadly incident involving the Batman ride at the park.
