Описание: Pianist Haruko Seki plays the famous Knightsbridge March which was used by the BBC to introduce "In Town Tonight". That radio programme was first broadcast in 1933 and ran until 1960. After the first broadcast thousands of listeners phoned the BBC who also received 20 thousand letters to ask about the music. It was composed by Eric Coates and taken from his "London Suite". Japanese born Haruko Seki performed this piece 79 years later to a capacity audience at Central Methodist Church, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire on 6 October 2012. The concert was organised by the Eric Coates Society, Eric was born in Hucknall close to the venue of the concert. Haruko loves playing the music of Eric Coates and told the audience that she is promoting it in her native Japan. Filmed by member of the Eric Coates Society, Michael Parkinson.
