ON BOARD CAMERA RIDE 1(A trip around part of the layout)

Описание: For the 1st time on this layout (still under construction), we give you an onboard camera ride around part of it. Your loco for today is Bachmann Class 66 of 'Malcolm Rail', & camera wagon is care of Dapol's Megafret wagon.

Running at steady pace, we start off in what will be the postal depot (when the layout's completed) on the upper level. We then take a very steady run, down the ramp incline on the branch line to the lower level.

After waiting for a clear road, we join the lower level tracks. We then run round & under the 3 installed upper level baseboards (still have another 3 to still to do & install to complete the upper level.). So you'll see from the video, what it's like viewed track level through the fiddle yards.

Other items on the layout (only a small part of the fleet, rest yet to be shown on here), are by Hornby, Lima, Bachmann, Heljan & Dapol. Also some vintage Airfix & Mainline coaches.

Loco's rolling stock you may spot: Stobart 66, NSE 03, Clayton, GC HST, 121 DMU, Pendolino, 37, 70, 20, 60's, 56, 153 & 150 DMU's, Javelin, EWS Managers train with 67 & DVT, 87, 57 & virgin DVT, Tornado, Deltic, Windoff MPV, Flying Scotsman (NRM 2004 version) plus various other stuff!!

Layout is DCC controlled, via Hornby's Elite DCC controller. The outer test track is dual powered (also using standard Hornby DC controller). So can run either DCC fitted loco's as well as any loco not yet converted to DCC. Very useful for running in loco's prior to converting them to DCC. (Windhoff MPV as seen in the video was doing just that, being run in. More on that in another video to come).
