Animal Kingdom Day to Night | Day 1 Celebrating a Birthday at Disney World

This is Day 1 of my (Kristin's) 50th birthday trip to Walt Disney World and we spent it at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We arrived in the afternoon, explored every corner of the park, and stayed until 8PM, long after most families had gone home. What happened in those final hours is something I'll never forget. If you are staying at a Disney resort, take advantage of this opportunity!

From the bioluminescent glow of Pandora at night to the Tree
of Life coming alive with projections, to the opportunity for the kids to ride Expedition Everest over and over and over again until closing, this day was everything I hoped it would be and more.

I'm sharing everything — the tips I wish I had, the moments that made me stop and catch my breath, and the facts about this incredible park that most visitors walk right past. Whether you're planning your first visit or your tenth, I hope this video makes you want to go and STAY. This park isn't a half day park, stay the whole entire day and soak it all in.
