Описание: To meet the needs of the global shipping industry and the trend towards larger and larger capacity mega container ships, Evergreen has consolidated its operations at Terminals #4 #5 into the newly constructed Terminal #7 in Kaohsiung, the first highly automated container terminal in Taiwan.

Featuring five 18-meter deep berths, Terminal #7 has an annual throughput of 4.5 million TEU, and is expected to reach a maximum of 6.5 million TEU in the long term. Equipped with remote-controlled quay cranes and AI intelligent systems, the new terminal significantly enhances the efficiency of quayside and container yard operations. It boasts a standalone 5G system, fiber optics, IoT, and an intelligent security system that provides full-time 360-degree panoramic surveillance, ensuring the safety of cargo and personnel. Additionally, it houses a spacious warehouse of over 3.3 hectares, with state-of-the-art facilities, to deliver highly efficient storage and on-delivery services.

Evergreen is taking positive action to fulfill its environmental protection commitments at Terminal #7. This includes the installation of solar panels, the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, the use of fully electrified gantry cranes, and the implementation of a SCADA system to track and analyze energy consumption. Terminal #7 will very effectively achieve Evergreen’s goals of energy saving and carbon reduction, initiatives that reflect the core spirit of the Company’s mission for sustainability: to create a better workplace and to protect the environment.
